The Silent Word

Some days the weakness overtakes
levels me to even draw
drags me down, to catch me up
then teeter-totters until I fall

with scrapes and bruises enough to mar
on surface only, through twisted smile,
misshapen thoughts to bind my will
and dance my moods in languaged style

to pout displeasures of the day
to utter not the discontent
to rearrange the moment's brood
and skirt the issues to circumvent

in words and only words I play
fine tuning what I wish to say.
Though many times, I am unheard
and lost among the silent word.

It's not easy to work aruond our moods swings.....  But you write them out so well Maureen, and you make me feel human after all.

I wonder if it's just a girl thing!
Morning hugs~

Yes Maureen...I know the feeling. Sometimes
even when people do hear, they don't  really  hear. It seems some
just don't listen very well.

Hi there Lori, I was just playing with words, their synonyms...their ups and downs and mood swings and it doesn't have anything to do with my today
Just a "for fun write"
hugsss

Ethel I was just trying to say that instead of showing my feelings in real sometimes just writing them out eases the angst.

thank you both
