Sadly Obvious

I thought you
were different
but more
of the same
carbon copy
with equal manner
a folded paper
cut to mold
where each attaches
to the other shape
page un-pleats
opens up and
you just fell in
the row of disappointment
sad…
a snowflake is what
I thought I’d find

"I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown

This is so lovely,
especially the comparing of a snowflake.

Helen, I'm sorry that you were disappointed.
I hope things get better for you soon.

1slick_lady, it's sad to think, that just when things start to look so different, they end up looking just like the rest.

Life lived long enough in solitude becomes a binding chain of links forged from quiet moments of desperation.

Enjoyed the way you stated the obvious,
and how simply you conveyed the disappointment.

Nice Helen~

yea, we always do, don't we,
if we stopped thinking that, whats the alternative?
recycled lines, from your home to mine.....they are all over the internet
