~<>~
As we share the beauty
of our love with you
Please be patient with us
as each day our love seems new

Some of us have had
much hurt and pain in our past
Finally we have found real love
a love we feel will last

A love taking us on a journey
down lifes path each day
Showing us many happy moments
we may have missed along the way

Moments so precious to us
we happily want to share
Telling you all about how
the two of us love and care

If such love as this
is sadly not in your life
Please do not ridicule us
for escaping our own pain and strife

So if our poems seem mushy
full of joy and happiness we find
There are troubles all around
for someone to fill up their mind

Sometimes circumstances have caused
much turmoil for us to endure
So please rejoice with us
in our love we have found so pure

If we seem to repeat ourselves
with these words we always write
Just try to be happy with us
for our love we find so bright
~<>~

You know there is never enough love in this world ever!  I would love to see more poetry of love than anything else, but I am just a romantic at heart.  I am so glad you wrote this and hope everyone will read it.  I knew that kind of love once, and you are SO right - every single day it is new and exciting, and worth writing about.

I now have love of family in my life but not "a love", (been there, done that,) but I sure do love to read about love when it is good old-fashioned mushy love.  Does that make sense?  Are you getting I enjoyed this LOL

I don't want to know where I am going, as it ruins the journey.

Scorpio, thank you very much. I really
do appreciate that.

Sharon, thank you. I feel the same way....
the world needs more love. I love romantic poetry.
But, I feel that some people get tired of
reading so much of it sometimes. I'm really
glad that you like it.

When love was removed from my life
And each day brought even more strife
Love words were just a fantasy,
A far stretch from reality...
But in some ways, they helped me cope
For as I read, I harbored hope.

Some love's silent in its existence
Some joy nudges with persistence
That it be shouted, shared, expressed
So that the world may know you're blessed.

Don't be discouraged by a few
I'm very glad that love's found you. *S*

Sweetheart, the love poems that you write about yours and your Honey-Love's adoration for each other, bring added joy to the lives of your readers! That is why you receive so many wonderful responses to your poems!

Luvs'n hugs to you and Gary!--and may he continue to be a source of inspiration!

I remember this feeling. each day began feeling a new kind of happiness. again, thanks for the memory.

Ethel Mae, you know I for one, despite having a broken heart, still enjoy your words of true love, and am always bouncing off your own happiness just by knowing you have it. And I'm certain many others feel the same way. Don't let anyone put you off what you do best!

Write away sweet lady
every word gives me hope.

much love,

Ethel, you just keep writing those beautifully, romantic love words and poems. For those who aren't being patient, they've probably  never been in love.

I'm waiting for your next poem ...

There was a time when I thought people probably got tired of reading my romantic ramblings.  Not a problem anymore!!
Ya know Ethel, I think it would break MY heart if things didn't work out for you and Gary.

I think they would tire of sad stories about love that doesn't work out...but love that works is always a nice subject.

What can I find that finds me too?
A love that's my own baby boo...

The rule of thumb is me and you.
and once again...I love you too.

It's true...
Stuck to you like glue.

I'll wait till dawn again will rise
And never question love each size
For love is eternal, small word it may be
Because love will set the imprisoned free

Beautiful poem garysgirl, filled with words so true.

darlin...everyone should look at your writes as an example and rejoice with tears of joy and happiness...your love writes are inspirational..fulfilling, truthful, honest and very giving...your love grows with the birth of each new day, constantly changing, evolving and don't ever ever apologize for loving, for being happy...and for the expression of it.  Love is truth...respect...honesty....kind...wanting to give more then receive...and maybe just maybe sets an example for all of us to love that way...to love each and ever person that way...love is not just a physical between two lovers but a grand universal love which is more powerful and fulfilling...if you can believe that.  A love without touch, and yet a grand touch which is felt, experienced and climaxed...with tears of joy at the gaze upon it and understanding of it...love is a spiritual relationship which goes way beyond human need...a very powerful and rightous place to be...something to be cherished and not ever taken for granted....and baby, you two sound out in trumpets your happiness...don't ever apologize for being overwhelmed with this beauty of nature and joyful gift from above!  Love and hugs...Lee J.

is concerned.
