She rises, full and glowing

the empress rules by diadem
far beyond mere quickening
I reflect her majesty
the wind attends and  pluck the leaves
fingers taunting strings of  harp.

haunting tunes of future past
Shadows flit from tree to bush

resonating shiver skin .
Silver then the blackening
as Shadows decorate her face
Dims her beauty but for brief
And still I sit and I am still
Feeling pull of silent sing
Calling to much more than tide

within I am the silencing
And she says to all who weep
Come taste the wine warm on my lips
Catch the drop that trembles there
Feel the softness of my hair
it tumbles loose
to grace your chest
Watch the pulse keep beat of time

immortal

my throat

beckoning

in tempt of lips

pierce to taste

the drop of blood
Begging you

the haunting of
To savor THIS...

I could equate this beauty you describe as to the ocean...the sea...a world of what you've described.  Thank you for sharing.

Hey lady, where you be?

Thank you for allowing me to play in yer yard again. Almost like old times, eh?

It was a joy to write with you again, and know that you have been missed.

Thanks again, my friend.

came back to yell at Paula a bit--now woman, you KNOW, and now I'm telling everybody, THIS was all Paula! I just took two poems and put 'em together and edited a bit.

shaking my head.

Paula Finn does not write garbage. sigh.

Hugs you, but you, too, give me way too much credit.
