where the wild flowers grow

Write about me.
Describe my
flame red hair,
and my
soft pale skin.
Pen me as flawless, remind
the paper of how
beautiful I am when
I cry.

I was your warmth in the middle of the night.

Write about me,
inscribe in cut tree my
deep, green eyes.
Hollow sound, impact my rhythm.
Write about the
curves that road along my
body.

I washed the streets from your skin.

But mostly,
remember these things I've said are imaginary.
For bodies
are indistinguishable.

And I am
not
vain, as you
probably think
this poem
is about me.

A voice of honesty
