Taut and severed
Attacked with surprise
Like a mad lover
Clearly influences stages of life
Controlled second choice
Design or Chance...what purpose
Blushing bruises
Eyes faint with retire
I was the second or option
Hearing sounds of his preference
As the onlooker...motionless and still
What had elevated the strain?
Of this love, what was the purpose?
Within this heart, why'd he return?
The passer-by transcended bearing
My hearts music...spring or summer
All those years....now has no place here
Scant scraps numb, dying consumption
Divided experience, rejected from the beginning
Standing back alone, in the heart attack of finish
What Nightingale of songs imagined
By the great light of the moon
A bird's-eye perspective of a waking dream
Sense of experience of a vivid illusion

Now to be as silent as you
I've read your face, seen your desires
Was I looking at a lover?
Who has disappeared behind a character?
Was I one of his soldiers, competing for a prize?
Now who is the prize?
By anything short of death
Having a much more ominous sound

Closing my mind to illusion's play
His play........
I need to control my eyes, listening to height
Wherein everywhere there is life
Philosophy will enlighten humanity
Hopes for the future and spirit of words
Like an inconsistent wind, conscious portions
Develop transitory brightness....this power arises
From within....tumultuous might's harmonies
A flower has faded, but the wind of the mind
Will proportion the sound of the spirit and heart
Falling leaves will garnish a cloud...interwoven
Driving forces becomes tangible sounds
The height of noble men, is not accomplish by flight

Beautiful, detailed description of emotion and time.

Lee, what excellent words of advice this is for hope for the future. I really enjoyed reading this. I'm so glad that you decided to join the family here.
