Soft hush rock of car
you're still in driving seat
and I
still driven through this madness everyday

She steers our way
and I am oblivious
to her chatter
full moon horizon
scatters memories thru windscreen
of garden star gazing with you

It wasn't the romance
but the reality
of where we were placed in universe
and what we had

Our summer crashed to early death
Our, is now me
and i don't know where you are

Whilst I am core strewn
in wreckage
no fleshy outer appeal
dull tone of fake smile remains

dying inside.

Gem, I started to reply, but I was interupted. Chilling, this one gets the shiver award for sure

Don't it allways seem to go,
that you don't know what you've got till' it's gone

Gemma, this  really  hurts  me.
I really, really hate that you're feeling
this way, my friend. I can only imagine how
I would feel if this happened to me and
Gary. At least you ae able to write about it.
Does it help any? I sure do hope so.
Heart hugs to you, my friend

gem - you couldnt have penned it better

you're still in driving seat
and I
still driven through this madness everyday

I can so relate to that never-ending swirl of madness . . .
