Take the bran from the oat,
it is the best part,
good for the belly
good for the heart;
some baking powder now
to give it the rise,
some good coconut oil,
don't be telling me lies
about that polyunsaturated
soybean paint thinner;
a little bit of salt
and some ground saigon,
thompson raisins
and dried cranberries too,
a little bit of flour
to make it stick for you,
steal the eggs
from the chickens
and the milk from the cow,
now we about ready;
I'm telling you how
to make the best oat muffins
on this god's earth,
almost make the pains
of living worthwhile;
so give me smile
there don't be no charge,
we pop them in the oven
then we're living large.

Of course you can have one.  You can have the bottom of mine also (I only like the tops).

Thanks for stopping by!

Iceman, you can send the bottoms to me...
I like them better than the tops.
I love the way you did this recipe poem. It
was different......looks like a good recipe, too!!
