Such joy, a childhood toy
Cherry cheer, float root beer
Light, to hover breezes coy

Blown of lips, pursed tart sips
Lemon drops, green lollipops
Rainbow glee, touched smiling finger tips

Such fun, adventured every one
Berry blue, aided pink confetti brew
Float, to lands remote and summer sun

Then chase, burst of grin and covered face
Grape aide, stained a purple shade
Such joy, to find a bubble’s grace

I like this, Kathleen. It did make me want some bubble gum or some Grape Aide or a rootbeer float...LOL. A very good poem.

I absolutely loved the rhyme scheme of this. Nice flow. An excellent tribute to all things simple and childlike. Thanks for the read.
