Purring thoughts
rocking chair morning
birds chirping serenity
leaves whispering softness
soft blue skies of solitude
lazy laid back mediation.

Fresh air fragrance
morning crisp awakening
dancing squirrel limbs
music rustling quiet
face of spiritual contentment
elevated aroused sensitivity.

Window of charge
dark clouds of mood swings
humidity clinging sweat
awaiting stillness of doom
storming rush of madness
fearful anticipation.

Drenching sheets whipping
limbs to breaking points
surviving will power
resilience until struck
by flashing light bolts
exploding shards of toothpicks.

Closed window of isolation
curtains drawn darkness
heartbeats of anguish
loneliness of depression
walls collapsing cloister phobia
expectations of the worst.
Sounds crashing around you
whirling doubts of surviving
deafening unknowns
spirit revolving into faith
retreating threats of harm
sounds of silence.

Cracked window of mystery
opening up to new imagery
Nature’s healing power
men working clearing trees
wet fur shook dry
birds happy to sing again.

Water puddles of mud
drying into potholes
sun evaporation of normalcy
leaves floating again
surviving butterflies fluttering
rebounding spirit reawakening.

Open window of new sounds
pristine night sky of peace
universe of endless stars
rocking chair again purring
warm breezes blanketing
eyes fading dreams.

Sunrise of dancing squirrels
birds singing even louder
sprouts of new life
eyes purring their love
rocking chair morning
gone full circle.

Such lovely images you've painted in verse.
Enjoyed this very much.
