i am pointless as a parallelogram
an octagon doesn't contain enough sides to define me
i grow thru stacks of rocks
don't prune me please,
i cant stand being cut to conformity,
if kids could color cows green,
maybe columbines wouldn't happen,
i'm a can of mixed nuts; a bowl of dyslexia
off the track and off the rack,
i met a homely man
he tried to put a bandaid on me
when i needed openheart surgery,
he's just another deadend anyhow,
probably stomping on another's givingheart,
waving his mediocre love poetry to gain entry,
i'd pass him over in the street if i came eye to eye
no handsome prince was he,
the lies, the lies,
just make me hotter,
fuel my fire,
im a raving, starving witch,
take me down to the paradise city
i can only love a rock star for now,
i put his poster on the wall
and he wets my dreams tonight,
would you join me for a bowl of alphabet soup?
where do we begin
to write another half-baked love story,
do i even dare to hope anymore?
i should shut my mouth,
sit on the shelf like a potted plant
for another 20 years,
and cook my husband a decent dinner again.

"i'm mixed nuts; a bowl of dyslexia
off the track and off the rack,
i let an ugly man
try to put a bandaid on me
when i needed openheart surgery"

a biting reproof
and yet
we abet the prater
albeit
a splendid portion
for the rune

Don't tell me to get a life -- I have one on backorder.

I loved this part:
--------------------------------------------
i let a homely man
try to put a bandaid on me
when i needed openheart surgery,
he's just another deadend anyhow,
probably stomping on another's givingheart,
waving his mediocre love poetry to gain entry,
i'd pass him over in the street if i came eye to eye
no handsome prince was he,
the lies, the lies,
--------------------------------------------

why did you even go for a prince
a Goddess should go for a God
great write & I'll be watching for more

I can sense the anger that still lingers. Let it go. You are letting the toad win. Pretty strong stuff you are writing there kiddo. You are painting wonderful pictures.

Your full moon lunacy was illuminating! You write on the edge and push the envelope--and that makes your writing intriguing--and extrememly interesting to read!

Several great lines in this beauty!

probably stomping on another's givingheart,
waving his mediocre love poetry to gain entry,

You never cease to amaze me girlielocks~
Love the raw passion you're serving up,  and everything that goes with it, including the soup!
