Deep in the heart

0 posted 2003-07-13 01:40 PM

my how it does fly
it is a four letter word
the fourth dimension
~*~
seconds quickly run
becoming speeding hours
days become a blur
~*~
where has it all gone
all lost to eternity
it cannot be saved
~*~
no saving of time
it cannot be banked at all
like water in hand
~*~
leaking through the cracks
wasting away forever
leaving memories

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I sent out a possie but THEY never came back. LOL, its good to see you.
And the poetry? A keeper, as usual.
Stick around awhile, we have hundreds of new members who haven't had a chance to meet you.

Midnitesun -
So that was who they were ...  I lost 'em I the Internet maze :-)

Kaoru -
Thank you for visiting and reading my poor offering.  I am a bit rusty I fear...

Not rusty..seasoned! I enjoyed this very much as there is so much truth in it. Live for today because you can't turn the clock back (except for Daylight Savings Time!).

Ahhhhhhhh, hello Hearthrobaloper~

On my oath ... I spent the better part of my morning going through some of the spontaneous inspire you gave me ... polishing some of them as poems to post at a later time~

Now ... what kind of insight is that ?

It is really good to see you, my friend~

Scrub the rust off and mosey on up to that inkwell and douse us in your poetic pleasures~

Can you tell that I'm glad to see you~ ?
I am~

I'm down in Corner Pub mostly ... drop in once in a while~

Well, that possie may have gotten lost in the Poetry Matrix, but you found your way back home without the lasso.
"Pondering..."
and all those writes that kept me glued to this blue screen, waiting for another gift from the Love Doctor.

moments drip sheer ice
perfections polar silence
standing motionless

the air grows different
summer’s fire starts the burn
suddenly a break

liquid from solid
passionate stone crystals melt
words warming this thaw

slow drip then trickle
unencumbered motion splash sighs
coursing free flowing

anticipation
brings satisfaction
ocean’s arrival
