standing on a shadow's lace

Claret Savor

sleeplessness clung
to the night glaze
till the vintage
of sky broke
splashing the flow
in full supply
of claret and blue
through morning glass
droplets filling
crystal dawn
a season’s yield
of summer
understood appreciation
bubbling waiting
for a taste

"if you keep looking back, you are going to miss your whole life" Unknown

That tasted as good as it read :-)
