Overwhelming Pain

Each time I think of you my heart, body, mind and soul is in so much overwhelming pain. I miss you everyday. Each day there is not a moment that goes by and that I don't stop to wonder what my life would be like with you here with me. Momma, Daddy and I miss you the most of all. Jacob and Justine did not ever know you. The pain that I feel makes me what want to trade places with you even through that is impossible. If I could only have one wish that would be to say that I miss you and that I love you very much. Julia I miss you so very much.
My heart and soul are always mooring for you.
In the very depths inside me my soul cries out to the heavens and calls your name.
It is so hard for me to go to the cemetery and visit you because each time that I visit you I get all chocked up inside. It is especially hard when your birthday comes and I want to wish you a happy birthday and your not here on earth but you’re an angel in heaven. It is also hard to come to the cemetery at Christmas time and to put the Christmas wreath on your headstone that is shaped into a loving warm and caring heart.

About the poem- This poem is in memory of my sister
Julia Violet B. Julia was born on July 28,
1989 and passed away on July 29, 1989.
Julia weighted 1 lb. 7 oz. Julia was born with brown hair red skin and blue eyes. She was born at 25 weeks.

My daughter went through that with her step-mother's baby, at 25 weeks...it's hard to make it so far and then have it end like that...

my daughter is 15 and she will always remember that day, the day that Sara was born and died, she calls it a birthday

we all went through that day, it was indeed sad, I cried all day

Thanks James for responding to my poem and for the hug. There are times when it is so hard for me to go on living because the pain of my sister's death is so unbearable.

*big hugs* I've been there unfortunately. It was five years ago, but I still am not totally past it yet. *sigh*

This is very sad, Jenn. There is mystery in life and death and we wonder why a soul would come here just for one day ... and still I believe Julia was sent to be loved and to touch your hearts. May your pain transform into the awareness that Julia resides in your heart and if you smile to her she will rejoice ... time to dry the tears.
Hugs. Your words so full of longing and love touched me deeply.
Love, Margherita

I wanted to share this poem with other people because I figured that I needed to let others know that there could be people who are suffering in silence about a family members death.
