I walked a path of wander
in hopes of finding me
but often went asunder
on a trail of fantasy.

I was steadfast--foot-by-foot
until she came my way.
Now I'm left to wonder
where sanity did stray
for in this quest I stumbled
on darkened path of gray
tangled in her roots
this heart she took as prey,
Watch ye now and pray the root--
set you free again--
take my heart and steal my pen
say i can have any man
tell me can I live this way?
and watch the shadow's sway...

as the light
recedes the limb
knowing I
cannot have him...

Hm...well, I read this before and thought I replied,
but I guess I'm slacking..lol.
I really do love this...very awesome duet.
