“BAYOU LOVING ECSTASY”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
This Cajun woman with desires strong within,
glides effortlessly over swamps dark water,
seeking her lover waiting in moonlight of night,
to do what she will, for she is the tempter…
In this candle moon in shadows dim with haze,
she surrounds her lover with her fires passion,
trees sigh in elation, as lover’s touch of skin,
and the water’s part wherever they sanction…
Clouds are amorphous coming together to moan,
alligators slither, as possums shake in fright,
ground of the earth shakes with trepidation,
while the Cajun exhausts with her appetite…
In dark of the mist, and in mist of the darkness,
breezes are quiet, as the dawn becomes with chill,
for it’s a Cajun woman in bayou loving ecstasy,
in the still of the quiet, in the quiet of the still…
What a picture you do paint of the lovely cajun woman as she roams the night for her romantic escapades.
I think I'll post Ballerina of the Evening Lights  you may like.
Bill...I've seen alot of bayou women being born in South Louisiana and you paint a vivid picture of one with your words.They can be rough as hell one minute and soft and sweet the next. Thanks for sharing...Paul
