In a breeze

Sometimes
even in the strangest places
when I see the bowing of summer grasses
or the ripples in a celebration banner
I know
it is the same ghost of wind
that is there with you
in your silk
in that offshore breeze

yeah...this has kind of a lonely feeling to it, a missing something or another, a void filled by wind as only wind can do if there's nothing else

yeah...may just be the ghost

Things Just Things

there are things
that can not
be dismissed
that we share
like the moon
the earth
and the breeze

I feel the same way about the moon.  This is lovely!

I get a sense of connection...I feel that way about the moon, too, never thought about the wind....I will now...

p.s.,
How about "pensive"?  Even "melancholy" would seem strong for what I was thinking.
Thanks for your interest.

1,
I love to respond in verse and it is really nice to be on the receiving end too,  Thanks a bunch!

Sky,
Glad you enjoyed.

Martie,
Thank you.

Kahlil,
The wind is everywhere and passes by us all.

bslicker,
Thank you.
