With my darkling

Stricken by her noble stance
I drop facades and start to dance
and love i'll not just leave to chance
yet love will lend a stoic stance

But smitten by her peircing stare
and weak, I feel, "devil may care"
but yet I know, I sought this lair
caught though I knew the trap was there

Hooked though I saw the trap was set
caught in a game, rules we forget
and never would a winner let
a fool with pretensions forget

That though die was cast
the match was set

Quite an interesting piece Jason. Chris

'The years have seen my life
through someone else's eyes,
but now, it's my turn.'
