Opposite Day

How I hate you

I loathe the insidious
Persuasion of your
Rasputinous voice,
The poison dripping
Syrupy sweet from
Your skilled tongue

I will not wail from
My deep this time
No, I will not yearn
Wishing on stars
Hoping by some
Miracle, you hear

I have never loved You,
not ever!
How could anyone
Love the sword that
Brings to them death?

This is opposite day,
Remember?

I hate you with all
of my heart.

Where have you been?

Let's see...if this is opposites day...
and opposites attract...
does that mean positives
scatter?
Oh dang it gal...
you're making my mind work too hard!

Hello Sunshine!

I suppose I should have explained what "opposite day" was about.  My 12yr old has a certain day that she and her friends would call the above. On that day they would say the opposite of what they really meant.

ie: I hate you = I love you.

Thanks for the ponderings, Sunshine. And Lee J, I couldn't agree more, hatred is hard on the body.   That's precisely why I do not practice it.
