they are sponges of darkness
devouring the sunset,

turning blacker than the sky
they build a fence upon,

they sweep the heavens
and brush the stars,

thru their filagreed leaves
they release the morning,

pregnant with apples
ripe with dreams

Michele, I love that part especially. It's
very pretty.

Michele:

when I need answers, I lie on the grass and look up between the trees swaying in the wind . . . I love to do this and this brought me back there . . .
this is beautiful

well your trees are different than mine: none of mine have leaves. I love the images you bring in this

Mish you had to be a Celt in another life. You have such a reverance and love for trees.
