in the past my
memories most precious:

stolen moments in haste
like biting into ripe plums
i cant quench my thirst
for the sweet nectar
despite the painfull seeds of stolen summers

at 6
kickin' it
straight pimpin
in my big bird chair

i want to go back to the days
where i welcomed the rain
dripping down my
smiling face
looking for puddles

passing shadows

I'd rather like to go back to when I was little too but we can't so I guess we may as well look ahead, even if it is with trepidation.

Sometimes you can't change what's going to happen but you can change how you percieve it.
