I sea

   upon each crest rise
   the stars within my reach

To me

   the wake of what lies,
   horizons without a beach

I'm free

   combing endless ties
   sailing such dreams that teach

Thank you Dixie,

scheming is not one of my better suits
      and this seems ... unended,
but I wanted to see if I could get the
effect of an unfinished dream ....

... kind of like no music to dancing.

Well written rhyming, and a pleasant dream theme, Craig. Enjoyed the cresting waves imagery.

Both rhyming scheme and content are excellent and somewhat unique...

Craig I don't quite get what you are saying here, but I wouldn't want to see a horizon with no beach.
Really like the setup and style, but tell me what you mean.

Sandra - have you ever found yourself lost in thought?
caught up in a dream with your eyes wide open?
That's how I have been feeling as of late,
tossing and churning in my thoughts ....

... but every thought holds something, good or bad,
special or indifferent, it depends on how
                we make use of it.

And each thought feels endless in this venture.

Does that help you? If not, try these!

Arthur - may such dreams be touched by thy hands

KC - the imagery is only in my mind,
the beauty is with your eyes.

            Thank you my friend.

Gem - You bring warm smiles through the chilling rain ....
                    ... ALWAYS!!!~  XOXOX

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine

I will remember you
