What do they have in common?
Nothing.
Don't think, just write.. . ... .

The carpet is greener
and the grass is softer on the
neighbor's property
and on the crooked line
I walk the talk and talk
the walk faster on a hot day
because hell freezes quicker
than eggs frying over easy on the pavement
but my eyes ain't easily fooled
and the soles of my feet burn
when I look at the mess you made.

But that's OK because
cheap wine is flowing fuller
than the stalls in the
women's powder room at a
clearance sale extravaganza

only there's never powder
in the powder room so why
not call it the toilet and
why are moist disposable washcloths
called toilets too?

I should know the answers
but I'm done medium rare
and too many cooks spoiled the
fashion plate with sides of
the finest whore devours
and spiked punch spilled
in my lap when I glared at you
for making this mess...
and me, without a toilet.

Ordinarily, I couldn't be bothered
but I don't have powder either
and all the good stuff was picked
out, leaving me with a blouse too
small in puce.

Who buys puce anyway?

It doesn't compliment my hair
but it was cheap.

When you think you have heard it all,
listen more closely.

Chanson, all of the above may have nothing in common but boy do I like the way your mind works.  In fact, is was a little bit, and scarily...like mine!  LOL...

Brilliant!
