I must confess As my tiara falls To the ground before you Kneeling at my feet Sitting upon my throne High above the past and the feelings.... Tears begin to mist over The protective gauze I haphazardly wrapped my heart up in The first time you poisoned me With your sweet apple laced kiss My faerie wand slips from my grip As I stare within your sea green eyes I'm caught in the violent waves My soul is being pulled under the current I'm drowning I reach for you As you stare nonchalantly Stuck within Rapunzel's tower I’ve let down my hair Help me... My feelings struggling I can't swim My heart is weighed down By destiny’s gravity As You pick up My tiara gently Treating it As if it were a newborn child Yet you toss it across the room I flinch as it hits the wall Shattering into a million pieces Crystal chards of insecurities splintering my soul Waves crashing over my broken heart Help me… I’m drowning… Within your sea green eyes As I slip from this throne To the ground before you You stand above me I must confess I love you As you walk away nonchalantly If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
