There's a feeling deep inside of me That screams and longs to be set free A spirit that needs to arise And lift toward the heavenly skies Like an animal trapped in a cage Like a demon full of rage It scrapes and claws at my heart It makes my body want to impart This black shadow creeping inside Making me cry and cry It grabs ahold of my breath And tries to squeeze till nothings left This being without a soul or face This entity trying to exsist in my place Once where there was love and happiness Now there is pain and darkness This thing making me lose sight It's getting harder and harder to fight I've got to draw the power from within And let my light rise again angelblueyes |
