A crack of light breaks through
Washing away the darkness in a surge
The world is revealed as I gaze through clouded eyes
I roll over, seeing you lying there next to me
I wrap my arms around you, embrace you
Pull you close
But you dissolve, slipping through my fingers
With a sigh I roll back into the darkness
And slip back into my dreamless slumber
And wait to see you for real
