To Build a Dock

I cannot build summations dock
While hearing echoes of the clock
It eats away the mortars rhyme
And reason for our living time.

I haul each day my lines of sail
To search the sea to find the whale
The oil I need to feed a wick
To light a light, kill Moby Dick

How many weights of weight in shale
To balance out the justice scale
To ring the echoes of the bells
To hear each generations dwell

Each stone a block to build this dock
No need this dock for finger lock
And if we sing in chorus time
I’m sure the echo will in rhyme.

And in the end we’ll laugh at change
The change we think so very strange.

And one day we'll sit back and laugh at the changes Sy!
One thing that never does..change that is..
is Nancy brewing a pot of tea early in the morn.
Enjoy your day Sy..just as much as I enjoy your morning words.
~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~

Sy, that was just facinating.

I said I'm going to buy a gun and start a war,
If you can tell me something worth fighting for

When my muse sleeps
and yes, she does...
I let her dream dreams
while my eyes skip lines
such as yours...

for when I do,
I see my muse smiling
in her sleep...

Oh this was absolutely a "you sonnet" Sy.  I can't wait til Nan gets home to show her this one, definitely a Cape kind of sonnet, and you did it from Florida?  I love you guys and sure miss seeing you.  I hope you can take this heat - brother this is tough on someone used to a constant sea breeze.
