~*~

Heirloom cups and saucers,
Passed down through the years,
From mothers down to daughters,
Sharing laughter, sharing tears.

Painted garden flowers,
Of delicate designs,
Grace the fine bone china,
Adding beauty to tea times.

Friendly conversations,
Over steaming cups of tea,
Fresh-brewed, orange pekoe,
Curing ails of what may be.

A tradition that continues,
To the present day,
The gathering of friends and folks,
To sip their tea and chat away.

~*~

EA,
I am a coffee gal...drink way too much of it too!  But you know I think I'll stop by the grocer today and pick up some tea.  Of course, I will still have to drink it from a coffee mug.

Enjoyed tea time with you!

Tea, i love tea. Afternoon tea linda? lets. actually i drink tea too much, all thru the day sometimes. I should drink more of the herbal flavoured ones, like green or rasperry...there should be a tea smiley shouldn't there?!

I have truly rambled on and on, as u can tell, i very much enjoyed your words, as usual.

Boston Tea Party Ship

I've been so busy protesting the Brits tax policies except on tea, that I threw it all overboard.
Darn, can I still come to your tealess party? Perhaps I could bring lemonade.

Hugs, Marti
