No matter how hard core you pretend to be
I think perhaps you felt it was time that I know
Time to let go…doing a favor for me
Thank you for the call…the one with her name on it
Now, all seems to fall into place
The after shock is gone
And when the hurt is finally a memory
Space, time and essence will open wide
Only one regret…if only….I’d have known

Driving home from work today...a strange feeling came over me..after 5 years...finally free and I wondered where I had been all those years....where in the world had I been?
