As if a candle lit inside, I felt my spirit glow
For something thawed my love for life and let my passion go

Free of devils felt despair and dungeon filled with black
Granted lease of something new, a life I wanted back

The doors had opened up to show the happiness behind
And I could see what I had lost, and tried so hard to find

My life had granted pardon to the torment felt from day
For I could look right passed it now, and from it walk away

Amazing how a flower blooms to show what beauty’s there
And how when you are touched by joy, you see it everywhere

For I’ve been touched and now been changed to say no more to pain
And I say let us love and laugh each time we meet again

Rick,

This is amazing.  Perhaps your words have pulled me in another direction this morning.  I have casted demons to the dungeon but they continue to rise at times.
Keep writing...I need your words of wisdom and joy!

Dear Patricia, thank you so much my friend for this very kind reply, you have filled my heart with contentment and happiness, I will happily keep writing for you, words are something I love to share.
Get a bigger lock for the dungeon and laugh at your demons, you will find they disappear.
Take care my friend, thanks again for the comments.

Sincerely
Rick

Rick, this is so beautiful. I'm really glad that you have found this place, too. It's really a good place to be. Thanks for sharing your heart thoughts with us.

Hello Rick

Your words were so uplifting and most inspiring, as always.

Dear Dixie, thanks for your reply, something just happened inside, not much changed, but one must move on and say that enough grief is enough, I have taken on a new approach and hope that with a positive attitude I will truely find happiness, great to get your reply, take care my friend.

Dear Ethel, thank you for replying, it is truly a wonderful place in which I hope to stay for a long time; smiling and laughing with people seems to become second nature, but there is still a me that sits in the background who does not smile too often. Thanks for caring, always great to see you here.

Hello Sue, It was my pleasure to share with you my friend, thank you for this wonderful reply, as always, very much appreciated.
