Pine needles soft underfoot Aura of light shouldering through summits Cocktail of sonic bursts Turning .32 caliber bullets away Swift currents announcing a natural homage Twilight whistles through sun dappled foliage Candles eddy culmination in highly flavored dreams Nonchalant music leaping like infantile flames Smooth flow of pillowy ocean channels Towering rhythm like rational unrehearsed sea foam Panoramas scattering curling hunchbacks of waves Whirling through the shutters of yesterdays Almost a whisper now, across the harbor, smiles Measureless glory, dripping treasures, falling out of pockets New spring water lapping over breathing rocks Having the audacity to not deny itself Wrapped in shawls of open water wide-eyed pearls Porcelain beauty swarms through the nostrils of Grande Piano Absolute metaphors dare the carriage of impressions Flattering courier of concepts procession Speaking to romantic views of the ageless artists Illuminating shadows within the grasps of passion's politeness Creature of light beaming inner strength and prowess Nature framed by the hand of divine, speaker of mankind The ferryman's lamp-light, flickers within the milieu of a lovers mind Enjoying assurance perceived in Gods creative time Shortsighted? More of a guiding light, handsome and well groomed Taming the proper balance of nature framed, figuratively speaking speaking.... A balance we choose. Tendons that create the heart Blending together elements of the lamb The challenge of every artist, where creative nature stands With open arms and hungry hands We're all going to fall down once in awhile...but...we'll stand up again, brush ourselves off and start all over again, one step at a time...one day at a time... |
