~*~
Little pansy faces
Smiling up at me,
Grace my pretty garden
Of a floral sea.

Roses pink and lovely,
Scent the morning air,
Their beauty is delicate
And far beyond compare.

Peonies with showy heads
In colorful array,
Irises of waving flags,
A fleurs-de-lis display.

Topiary bushes,
Sculptured by God's Hand,
Statues of goddesses
And gods of promised land.

Roses climbing trellises,
Entwined by ivy vines,
And just beyond the garden hedge,
Stand the whispering pines.

Lilies-of-the-valley
Line my garden path,
Graceful bells of snowy white
Surround the songbirds' bath.

An endless well for wishing,
The fairies hold it dear,
And only friends of angels,
May ever venture near.

Just beside the garden gate,
There is a little sign,
"Earth Angel's Haven"

The aroma of your garden wafts all the way to my backyard. A delight to my senses.

Thank you for sharing nature's beauty at your hands.

Marti ~

Other than a couple of changes and switcheroos, this poem came pouring out of me as is! I wish writing poetry was always this easy! I suppose the ease came from writing about something I love!

Huggums and smilie faces,

(smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, I believe gardening is one of the most beautiful and important arts of all, for if we are good gardeners, that gives us godliness, showing that we are capable of loving and nurturing what God created! (kiss on cheek) I wish I could see your garden, sweet friend, I help my mom with hers and dream of making my own garden in the future, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
