Caught up in the magic of this
All consumed with loving you
I no longer saw reality
That who you are
And who I perceived you to be
Were no longer the same
I could not see
Did not want to see
Until that day
When the scales fell away
And I saw clearly
Now I know
But I know nothing
Or more importantly
(at least to me)
I don't know why

Pepper darling heart, there is in your writing a deep and abiding echo that lingers in the soul of the reader, so few writers can and do write this well fewer do this as well as you do. It is a pleasure to read such well written expressive work. This is an utterly utterly utterly wonderful post. So incredibly well constructed the flow is excellent like a stream of crystal water it refreshes as it strokes the mind.

When tears fall as they sometimes do
Look inside and seek hopes view
Don’t imagine the tears will stay
Soon enough they will fade away

When hearts hurt as they sometimes can
You wonder if it’s the fault of every man
But soon the memory passes by
And you’re left alone to wonder why?

When words cut as they have before
Just pick yourself off the floor
They are just words they can’t harm you
Even though you think they do

When wounds weep with hurt and pain
Don’t despair to try again
Give more than you ever have before
And you’ll find you’ll receive much more

When tears fall as they will now and then
Know that your smile will come again
You don’t give up, don’t yield at all
Inside your heart is love’s true call

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds
but I can face the future with courage brave and bold

I am no longer sure of that answer either, Midnitesun, but I am sure of one thing; we see nothing so clearly as that which we wish to believe .. and we doggedly cling to that belief until we are forced to confront reality.. reality.. another name for life... aka the brick wall... lol

Well hello darlin!!

Thank you sweetness for your words; did you know that you are a healer?  hmmm?

The balm applied often shall eventually bring relief..

Smiling a bit stronger now..

And the reality of who or what you love comes into focus always after the glitter of romance fades away...which is not to say that love cannot continue..but it has to be of a different sort..very sensitive write
