You may have noticed my absence From these pages of powder blue But there is a very good reason Why my words aren't getting through My daughter is on school holidays And I am hardly ever home My time is needed elsewhere Although I miss my other home We've been to see the movies And been to the ten pin bowl But I really miss my writing Where I share my heart and soul But soon I'll join you on these pages And get my writing back on track So have no fear, I will return And just like Arnie, "I'll be back!" I am in motion |

Sue, we miss you and will be waiting for your return. Do keep enjoying this time with your daughter, though. As I wrote in a poem the other day, I really do miss the growing years of my daughter now that she is married and has a family of her own. Those years when they're growing up go by so fast.
