~*~ ~*~

The waves came today
The romp and carefree fritter
Of a summers day

Silver breakers surfed the sound
Lift and levy, light and heavy
Footloose frolic bound

Shallows became pools
Endless wonder white caps folded under
Sparkling sunsoaked jewels

The waves came today
For here the smiles stray for miles
Into timeless spray

TD,
These images are so beautiful. I feel like I am at the beach.  You did splendid work with piece!  Wow.

I am going back to read it again and be washed by the waves once more.

Not to be confused with a diamond in the rough.     Your sparkle continues to shine so brightly, TD~

What a nice vision that gave me

If you can tell me something worth fighting for
