just a slightly dangerous
twitching of the tail
lidded eyes are traveling
following the bouncing ball
veiled in the oblivious
a picture of serenity
yawning in the face of it
languid
in the lick of paw
one by one
a stretch of claw--
removing scent of the last kill...

in the cross-hairs of the hunt
through the scope
and to the point--
I ask you, beg you,
tell me this--

"Who is carrying the gun?"

You're gonna shoot your cat??????

I can remember being ready to shoot mine more than a few (hundred) times, for walking back and forth along the vertical blinds at 3am until I let her out.....now I miss it.

Hmm... *thinking now*

It is said the Creator has taken a handful of South Wind and given each newborn Arabian the power of flight without wings
