Lost years of youth so swiftly flown,
the joys and sorrows I have known,
I would not trade for yesterday,
the wealth of memories filed away.
I have no desire to travel back,
to recapture the youth I sadly lack.
Though passing years bring pain and grief,
my time on earth becomes more brief.
My heavenly home I long to see,
there Christ my Savior waits for me.

James, I hope you do have some more living to do. I know that feeling all to well. I guess I have just reached that point in life where when he's ready for me, I'am hopefully ready to go. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I'd like to go...someday, but I'd like to do before I go.
Lovely theme and words.
