where the wild flowers grow

It gets worse
when you realize it's bad.
I get
tired
of walking miles
just  to work.
   and it's not
         working out
I've payed
too much,
and don't make
enough..

Shy voice
roar
above the crowd.
Tell me now, do
you hear the caress
of sound?
I write
to ryhme and
subtract meaning to
the feelings..
So I make myself
become someone
else and
complete the fate..
Revealing nothing yet
putting together a simple
verse here
and
there..

Like double miles
stretch across
my feverish mind I blow
a kiss
to the wind
and
forgive with time.
I cry to you
Take me back to
the whisper of
flame in a
sad love song..

Isn't it amazing how our mind fractures thoughts when our hands are busy with the mundane?  My hands are often such...and my mind whizzes and I think I scare myself...will I remember ALL of this....

[two small typos that I spotted...you'll see
'em....]

A good write, Meghan!

The honesty of this, the thoughts washing dishes, I know what this is like.  Enjoyed.
