Etched in the illusion of time

My dulcet tones are alive in the song of summer,
My dulcet tones are alive in the song of summer,
Bending betwixt the hazy fading August air,
Bending betwixt the hazy fading August air.
In the bending air of August's dulcet song,
Hazy tones are alive betwixt my fading summer.

The skies will whisper with sweetly laced salvation,
The skies will whisper with sweetly laced salvation,
Coming down upon our world as fine sugar rain,
Coming down upon our world as fine sugar rain.
Will whisper down sweetly upon our world's salvation,
As the skies laced coming rain with sugar fine.

'Tis a gentle lullaby that comes whilst I sleep in harmony,
'Tis a gentle lullaby that comes whilst I sleep in harmony,
By and by with the torrent of flavored saccharine dreams,
By and by with the torrent of flavored saccharine dreams.
In sleep 'tis that flavored torrent of lullaby dreams
Whilst, by and by with saccharine, a harmony comes.

Betwixt our sweetly bending tones,
The dulcet lullaby of summer dreams comes alive.
The air of August, laced in that sugar's saccharine skies,
Upon 'tis the harmony coming with salvation fine.
As the rain's hazy whisper flavored down a song,
In sleep, my world will torrent, whilst fading by and by.

For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.--"Romeo and Juliet"

"in a past life i was a woodcarver's knife: the sharpend blade of a wood cutter, the eldest son of the chief's brother: a maker of drums"
