Why?
.
Clear and crisp October night,
Kiss upon my cheek by western breeze.
High, and full the moon shines bright
(That casts a realm of glittered light)
Silver star chains hold it high,
This puts my mind at ease.
.
But now the scribbled heat of jet
Across the lunar face comes streaming,
Spreads a foggy-line of white, but yet;
This ill impress, wind blows away
And I return to dreaming.
.
Then on the edge, of that pewter orb
In a snow brings, hallow glow, then entered
Visions shown, for my weary-eye's absorb
A Geeseā€™d, and honking, flying vee
Of tan-gray dappled feathers.
.
Now all is right in the shine of moon,
That longs my shadow by it's glow.
Is foul judgment called too soon
When things of man do irk me so?
Why?,is this, I want to know.
.
end

sometimes there are never answers to questions...especially not one...but perhaps many that we will never know...don't waste time on the worry of it or the whys of it, simply believe that it happened, and move on...a better brighter star for the mixture of it all...acceptance of your journey with a smile and without judgement...but..the willingness to flower from it and bloom the most fragrant rose.

Why does someone have to crank up a weed whacker just when you have settled in to read and write and relax...James

I find your writing to be just incredible!
The imagery takes the reader right ..there.
This piece I especially love..a keeper for my library.

LeeJ:
I am soothed by your soft words, the prose in them makes me feel wonderful...thank you.

James:
You hit the nail right on the head....I see that your concentration has been broken by the aggravation of things of man also.
Thanks for the comments...ice
