Floating under overhanging shady trees, steadily i row the small boat gently down the river, i glance at you, laying with a smile as perfect as the day. Nearing dense reed beds i steer the boat into the middle. Birdsong bursts all around us, reed warbler,sedge warbler and reed bunting sing a trio of melody, but from you i cannot stay away. Kissing in the hissing, scratching reeds, i caress your body. Heavenly you are under the sky so clear and blue. What love i hold in my heart for you, my lady of the lake. Moorhens and coots call near their secret hideaway nests, your eyes so soft i look into and slowly move my face to yours, what partners we make. Rowing down the river,you trail your finger tips in the boats wake. two swans delight the scene with gentle purity. Pulling the boat into the bank, we step onto the verdant green bank of turf. Laying on a blanket on the ground, we tumble into each others arms, a perfect moment of serinty. Sighing and laying on the ground side by side, we look up and make shapes out of the clouds, i glance at your face looking up to the sky, in slence. This day has been memorable, never shall i forget it, may we always lay and bathe in loves soft light of brilliance. |
