~*~~*~

How many times the tides
Have taken me on wind swept rides

Washed out to seas
Uncertain in un-named degrees

With nothing but a sail
The mind by matters to prevail

And taken somehow free form
As intuition inborn

How many times the surf
In pounding breaths for all its worth

Sudden swimming lessons
Served by fire the lifeline stresses

And beautiful the float
On surface waves without a boat

Beneath the opal moon
Against the shores to rest so soon

How many times my breath
Held fast in panic cheated death

And soundlessly the waves
Have carried on to brighter days

And yet inept to trust
Another journey’s ride I’m thrust

To fight or flee again
Into the sea my parted friend

As waters flow the ocean,
as waters flow the sea.
As waters flow in motion
a sailing lass shall be.

Shall be a maid of honor,
shall be a maid of might.
Shall not let it haunt her
into the darkened night.

For on the ocean mighty,
and on the wave in crest.
A lass shall sing softly
of love within her breast.

and though the life is filled
with strife and suspense.
The wanting shall be willed
in this and every sense.

Live life fully,  live it free.
Live it as though,  a last breath will be.

loved this...

"in a past life i was a woodcarver's knife: the sharpend blade of a wood cutter, the eldest son of the chief's brother: a maker of drums"

this bit realy speaks to me.

The only difference between the creative and the conformists is that the creative will not be conquered and the conformists already are.
