where the wild flowers grow

Why must you
cling on to me?
Dear past I've tried
to harm those images in which
I smiled truely..

Oh, Father..may I ask why?
Do I have that right?
  It no longer
feels good to know you're
mine.
Been years since
we've exchanged casual
conversation..
  And you have been
replaced by one
who is more man than you could ever be..

Do you have the right?
To steal the sun from my sky
     Oh, Father
break my memory by humming that
lullaby you never
sang to me.
Make me think
that there's about the smell of the air
in the black magic midnight
that I embrace, whilst leaving

the memory  of you.

So, very, very sad...You expressed this pain so poetically.

Loving hugs,
