To pull a Thread

I wander on a symbols thread
That starts when I’m asleep in bed
It leads me into wonders field
Where fantasy is made to yield

Blue thistle grows like fields of rye
And blends into the blue of sky
The air is fresh with morning mist
The picture warms my heart with bliss

And there amongst the greenery
The lush of flowers scenery
Waits the essence of the theme
The wistful body of the dream

The essence of my wile of trace
Shouldered in mantilla lace
Holding out her arms in wait
An Angel in a spirits state

Still I’ve never touched this grace
This symbol of a threads embrace

Good morning, Sweet Sonnateer!

The images and sensations are so incredibly appealing to me. This poem is most assuredly a .

You write with such grace, beauty and emotion. You put the "P" in Poet, the "S" in sonneteer, and the "W" in wonderful!

Have a glorious day, you wonderful, sonnateer poet!
