I struck a rock with hammer's blow,
To see what lay inside,
A geode's crystal majesty
Perhaps in stone did hide.
I smashed my prize with mighty force,
No cleave but instant shatter,
It turns out the rock was rock,
So it really did not matter.

Too quick?  LOL...thanks for bringing some humor to my most recent mistake...which I had to fix quick, but I don't know that the "repair" will be worthy...

I collect rocks of feel, Sir.  Did you know that?

So...one for the library!

Tim, I love this poem ...the subject and
the way you did the rhyme.
