where the wild flowers grow

Yah, you betcha..would you like a
pop with that
tatertot hotdish?

What's with this..
this Northern speak?
I moved up here expecting
people just like me but,
they say bagel differently!

Oh, the sorrow!
Oh, the pain!
I wish I could be
back on that desert plain!
These northern folk don't do it for me,
I'd rather have a coke and
a casserole.

I'd need an interpreter. Cute poem!

LOL...I love this Meghan!  When I visited the south for the first time in 1980, I was introduced to what was called by some "south of the mouth..." and I loved it!  I so enjoy listening to other dialects within our own language, the meanings, the pronunciations...

the history!

This, my dear, is a !!

A coke and a casserole sound pretty good to me right about now! But then again, a pop and a tatertot hotdish sound equally appealing!

Adorable!
