Cold and Unaware

When she smiled a
little smile for me
I felt like the
world was mine.
I savored her grace.
I tasted her sweet wine.

Now as I sadly look
upon her face,
her smile is
barely there.
For she no
longer cares.
Her heart cold
and unaware.

It is so much sweeter when the object of your love is hot and aware, isn't it!
