Speaking of Tea

My aim to sip a mental tea
A brew of steeped fraternity
Sweet of spirit and full of taste
With all the thrill of youthful chaste

Made of the leaves of childish dreams
Ground in the mortar of fields and streams
Lit in the light of awesome skies
Set in the dew where morning lies.

My dragon said it don’t exist
It is a veil, of smoke and mist
It is a paradox a pox
Separated by time and locks

But still I’d cut this Gordian knot
I’d slice it with a sward of plot
Open it up and brew the tea
I would this butterfly be free.

If I could sail around this bend
I would by God no better end.

Then I will brew you a pot of tea ...
with a spot of lemon and spree of raspberry.
And we shall sip by Eden's gate ...
bring Randy by three as to not be late.

And we will make this dreamers day to last ...
dining with Kings and Queens from moments past.
Walking in gardens of royalties worth ...
bursting with the beauty of blossoming birth.

So meet me in the Shangri-La of your mind ...
we will leave the deceive of reality behind.

Seymour, seems, you have to tell Randy what is, sometimes? You are so sweet, my friend.

Been on your site a short time and I do enjoy your poetry. Also love the graphics I have seen on various poetry.
I'll bring my Mandarin Orange Spice and we can sit and chat for awhile.
Good job.

Your fine mind is steeped in a well-brewed tea of incomparable quality!
