What dreams may come to us
In those wee hours of the night
When we turn and toss and topple from
Thought to thought
Like feathers lost in a wind?
If the body is an illusion
Why do we eat  sleep cry curse and breathe?
Why does my sub-conscience
Send subliminal messages
And use suggestive sales
To try to win me over?
What dreams do we wind around our fingers
Like  spools of thread?
What plans are we weaving, if any?

I wake with words on my tongue like
Babies waiting to be born.
Why do I abort my thoughts?
Why do I remain silent when there is a garden of
Monologues
Growing in the pit of my stomach?

Why doesn’t anyone pick my flowers?

Hi Cruina, Welcome to Passions! I love your first post.. especially  these lines....

I wake with words on my tongue like
Babies waiting to be born.
Why do I abort my thoughts?
Why do I remain silent when there is a garden of
Monologues
Growing in the pit of my stomach?

Why doesn’t anyone pick my flowers?

Love the images.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Corie, this is a very heartfelt debut, dearest friend, it can be a little frustrating when such good thoughts slip away, yet I think they are always compensated for something just as valuable and in following our intuition, so much is always there for us, yay! Welcome to Passions, sweet Corie, may you be inspired by all of us here as we will all be inspired by your lovely words! I can't wait to read more of your fabulous poetry, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
