A smile....
wearing yesterdays style
everything comes full circle....
And that laughter,
it’s an echo they say
of the woman missed....
Remembered....
Treasures given
to a little girl
gifts
of a smile
understanding
unconditional love
knowledge
of being loved....
Yes, it comes full circle
and when I hear your laughter
realize
it’s my own...
Feel my heart?
it’s grown
you are, missed.....

======================

to be her "echo" is the greatest tribute you can pay her. The sincerety and tenderness of this is pure poetry. You do her a lovely justice Sea-girlie.

All I can feel is this distance between you and me.
I can say I love you but I can't make you believe me
because touching is believing.

And your Aunt would so approve of the young girl who received her unconditional love, for she keeps passing it on, and on, and on, in her delightful poetry...

and I think your Aunt just heard THAT echo....

What an adorable picture. You are so sweet, I loved your poem, it's filled with longing.

Ya know, I have an Aunt Sue...maybe I'll give her a call.  Thanks Susan.  Look at that smile, you haven't changed a bit...
